The above image Is a few years old, but I've always loved the color scheme, so I tried to re create it in the image below.

Final Light.

I was inspired to do lightning after a massive lightning storm where I was living at the time. I spent around 1 hour trying to get the feel of it right before settling with this.
Personally I think it looks close enough.

I've also started experimenting with Hexels:

I love the ocean, so I started by trying some ocean related images, which I think is fun considering the abstract look Hexels give.

This one was meant as a representation of the sea levels from top, to bottom at sunset, hence the title Depths.

This one was just an exercise in symmetry, while utilizing the colors for a guild I used to run In World of Warcraft. The color scheme was inspired by my Infinite Dreams pictures above.

Thank you for the kind words.

I used Gimp for the majority of them, some of them I ran through another program I sadly don't have anymore, and for the last 3 I used Hexels, an art program that specifically uses the hexagon designs for It's brushes.

Awesome, I understand that's a pretty hard style to master, yes? I would never call myself an artist, because I can't duplicate, or conform to any single style, like you can. Everything I do is sporadic and random, with only vague ideas in mind.

Well I been drawing cartoon characters since 2nd grade. Then I moved to anime at 7th. I'm also good at copying down images. If you give me something to draw, anime or cartoon related. I will draw it. And your ideas are very beautiful. I have to say. Keep it up.
